We've enjoyed day trips and camping trips, and share a love of the outdoors and rustic travel!  A major milestone in our relationship journey was a one-week road trip to San Diego, travelling through the South of the States, across a desert (and through a sandstorm!) and finally up through the Rocky Mountains to cross the Great Plains.

The quality time of our adventures brought us closer together, and taught us how we'd navigate life together as we prepare for our next adventures.

As our relationship grew deeper, we began planning a life together - which meant immigration, career changes, and exciting steps forward!

Throughout 2023, plans were laid for an innocent North Shore day-trip when the question would be asked!  She not only didn't see it coming, and even spent the week before venting about how we should be saving for a ring!

When the day of the trip arrived, he secretly coordinated with family to avoid suspicion, and prepare a shoreline spot to surprise her.

She gave him quite a scare halfway there, when visiting Gooseberry Falls she wanted to grab her phone from his pocket, grabbing the ring box instead!
He quickly mentioned that was his wallet, and handed her phone while patting away the sweat that scare gave before any suspicion started...
As we walked down to a shoreline point, family lurked (even with some disguises!) to take photos and video as we approached the point, and celebrating after she said "Yes!"

As we navigated the immigration process, we had a 90-day window to wed in order to bring my beautiful bride to the States.  Our families gathered for a beautiful, traditional ceremony at the St. Paul Courthouse August 23rd, 2024, but we knew that we wanted a full celebration with so many dear to us - and we're excited to see everyone on our one-year anniversary, August 23rd 2025!
